Adrian Hernandez, Sophomore: “It caused me to get less sleep, so throughout the day I am really tired.”

Paola Escobar, Sophomore: “When I wake up in the morning it is really dark, it makes it harder for me to get up and start my day.”

Azul Martinez, Sophomore: “Daylight Savings has affected me not in a bad way, but also in the morning I have trouble to wake up.”

Alicia Lopez, Sophomore: “It’s really hard because losing an hour of sleep makes me realize how good I had it before Daylight Savings Time.”

Imani Harmon: “I plan to go to NIU or SIU to study early childhood education, and sociology. I plan to travel more; that is most definitely a must during this summer. Working with kids has always been an interest of mine, I wish to fulfill this dream/goal.”

Sherrice Smith: “I plan to go to NIU, and my goal is to become a travel nurse. It has been on my mind a lot lately, and it is something that I feel would bring me success, and happiness at the same time.”

Mykell Reynolds: “I plan to stay in Rockford and get a good paying job. I wish to get my own apartment and have a stable amount of income so I can live comfortably on my own. I also want to start a clothing business, I don’t know what that consists of for now I just have a dream.”

Iyahna Kamau: “After high school, I want to move to a big city, and just branch out immediately. I have been thinking about moving to Houston, Los Angeles, or even Atlanta. I want to become a real estate agent, and these three places I know are places that I could become successful, and make money off of.”
